These terms apply when you use the Center For Tomorrow website, wherever you live. By using the site, sending a message, subscribing, volunteering, or making a gift, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Center For Tomorrow is a nonprofit based at Ntinda-Kiwatule Road Near Sebowa Road Kampala – Uganda. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@centerfortomorrow.org or +256 772 922 262.
Using the website
You may use the site to learn about our work, read stories, contact us, subscribe, volunteer, donate, and explore child sponsorship. Please use it lawfully and respectfully.
You agree not to:
- Break into, overload, or interfere with the site or its forms.
- Send spam, false information, or anything unlawful or harmful through a form or email.
- Copy photographs of children, or scrape the site, for your own publication or commercial use.
- Pretend to be someone else, including a donor, sponsor, or member of our staff.
Donations
A donation is a voluntary gift to our charitable work. It is not a purchase of goods or services. Gifts can be made in Ugandan shillings or US dollars by card or mobile money. Payments are processed by Flutterwave. Minimum amounts shown on the donation page apply.
Once a payment has been completed, it is generally not refundable, because gifts are used for our programs. If you were charged by mistake, or the same gift went through twice, email us with the transaction reference and we will look into it.
We use gifts for education, nutrition, hygiene, skills, and the other work described on this site. Unless we have agreed a specific restriction with you in writing, we may apply a gift where the need in our programs is greatest.
We cannot promise that a gift is tax-deductible in your country. Tax treatment depends on your local law. Please check with a tax adviser where you live before relying on a deduction.
Child sponsorship
Sponsorship is a way to support a specific child in our programs. Profiles on the site share limited information — a name, age, photograph, need, and story — so you can see who is waiting for support. They do not publish a child’s home address or private contact details.
Choosing “Sponsor this child” takes you to our donation page. Sponsorship helps provide education, meals, hygiene support, and skills programs, and it also strengthens the wider community around that child. It does not create a private contract between you and the child, and it does not give you the right to contact a child directly.
Sponsors may send letters or cards by post to our office, or by email. Include your name and the child’s reference number if you have one, so we can match the message. We deliver letters with care and translate when needed. Please do not include your home address, phone number, or requests to meet a child outside our programs.
Volunteering
Sending a volunteer application means we may contact you about opportunities. It does not guarantee a placement. We may decline an application or end a volunteer role if it is not a fit for the children and communities we serve.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we will email you stories, needs, and invitations related to our work. You can unsubscribe in any newsletter or by writing to us. We do not sell mailing lists.
Our content
Text, photographs, logos, and stories on this site belong to Center For Tomorrow or are used with permission. You may share links to our pages. You may not copy child photographs, republish stories, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, unless we agree in writing.
The site is provided as it is
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or up to date. Program details, child profiles, and stories can change. Nothing on the site is legal, tax, or financial advice.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Center For Tomorrow is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the website, a failed or delayed payment, or reliance on general information on the site. We do not exclude liability that the law says cannot be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it. It is part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. The courts of Uganda have jurisdiction, without taking away any mandatory rights you have in the country where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
